Clinical psychology is a field focused on assessing, understanding, and treating a wide range of psychological, emotional, and behavioural difficulties across all ages. Clinical psychologists use evidence-based methods—including therapy, counselling, and psychological assessments—to evaluate clients’ needs and develop personalised treatment plans. Their work may address emotional issues, family or social problems, and even difficulties linked to physical health. They support clients in understanding underlying challenges, building healthier coping strategies, and improving overall well-being. Clinical psychologists also collaborate with other healthcare professionals when needed and contribute to research, teaching, and programme development, playing an essential role in advancing mental health and helping individuals lead more fulfilling lives.

Counselling psychology is a branch of psychology focused on helping people navigate life challenges, improve emotional well-being, and develop healthier coping skills. Counselling psychologists work with individuals, couples, and families to address issues such as stress, relationship difficulties, work problems, and mild to moderate mental health concerns. Using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, they support clients in understanding their feelings, building resilience, and enhancing overall life satisfaction.

Counselling is a supportive, therapeutic process that helps individuals explore their thoughts, feelings, and challenges in a safe and confidential environment. Through guided conversations and evidence-based techniques, counsellors help clients gain clarity, develop coping skills, and find healthier ways to manage difficulties such as stress, relationships, or emotional concerns. The goal of counselling is to promote personal growth, emotional well-being, and positive change.

Child behaviour therapy is a form of treatment that helps children understand and manage challenging behaviours, emotions, and social difficulties. It uses evidence-based techniques—such as cognitive-behavioural strategies, skill-building, and positive reinforcement—to teach children healthier ways to cope, communicate, and respond to situations. Therapists often work closely with parents and caregivers to create consistent approaches at home and school. Overall, child behaviour therapy aims to improve a child’s emotional regulation, behaviour, and overall functioning in daily life.
